Bird Netting & Spike Installation
Netting and spikes get lumped together but they solve different problems. Netting is an enclosure, spanning an opening such as a covered patio, an entry alcove, a warehouse bay, or the underside of a carport, and denying access to the whole volume behind it. Spikes and post-and-wire are ledge hardware, making a beam, parapet, sign, or light fixture uncomfortable to stand on.
Put spikes where netting belongs and the birds nest six inches to the side. Net a ledge and you have paid for something a strip of spikes would have handled. We read the roost pattern first and tell you which the site actually needs, including where the honest answer is both.

How the guarantee worksWhat every visit covers
6 thingsRoost-pattern inspection
Droppings, feathers, and staining tell us where birds land and whether they are nesting or just loafing.
Netting for open spans
Netting tensioned on cable and anchors across patios, alcoves, courtyards, and bays, cut and fitted to the opening.
Spikes & wire for ledges
Stainless spikes, post-and-wire, or ledge hardware sized to the surface, from parapets and beams to signage and light fixtures.
Cleanup before install
Droppings and nesting material come off first, so hardware is never installed over a contaminated surface.
HOA & commercial fit
Low-visibility hardware and color-matched netting for sites where appearance is part of the brief, which around the Valley is most of them.

Understanding Bird Netting & Spike Installation in Phoenix & the Valley
Bird netting closes off an open area, a patio, courtyard, or loading bay, so birds cannot get in at all. Spikes and post-and-wire make a narrow ledge impossible to land on. Which you need depends on whether birds are nesting or only perching. Below, here is how bird netting & spike installation works across the Phoenix Valley, when pressure peaks, what a treatment actually does, and why local experience changes the result.

Re-service between visits
Why bird netting & spike installation is different in Arizona
The Sonoran Desert climate, block-wall construction, flood irrigation, and monsoon cycle all shape how pests move here. A treatment tuned to Phoenix conditions targets the specific harborage and entry points our homes create, instead of a generic approach that leaves gaps.
What our treatment actually does
We combine a physical inspection, exclusion at entry points, and a maintained exterior barrier with targeted interior treatment on request. The goal is to break the pest's life cycle and keep a protected perimeter, not just knock down what you can see today.
Recurring service vs. one-off spraying
A single spray fades. Recurring visits keep the barrier fresh through the seasons when pressure is highest, and the free re-service guarantee means anything that slips through between visits is handled at no extra cost.

Bird Netting & Spike Installation inspection on a Phoenix & the Valley home
Signs it is time for a treatment
Any one of these is worth a call. Not sure? A free inspection settles it, no pressure and no obligation.
- You are seeing the pest indoors, not just outside
- Activity keeps returning a week or two after DIY sprays
- Sightings near kitchens, bedrooms, or where kids and pets are
- Nests, webs, mud tubes, or droppings around the structure
- Pressure spikes after monsoon storms or a heat wave
- You want it handled before it becomes an infestation
When pests are worst in the Valley
Pests pressure builds through spring, peaks across the hottest months, and surges again after the monsoon storms.

The Property Pest Control difference

Property Pest Control technician in the field across the Valley
Local Arizona expertise
We treat Phoenix & the Valley homes week in and week out, so we know how local pests behave in our climate, soils, and construction styles, not a national playbook. That local read is what lets us solve problems national chains keep coming back for.
Free re-service guarantee
See activity between scheduled visits? We come back and re-treat at no additional charge. It is included on every recurring plan, so the results are on us, not on you to call around for a second opinion. A callback is a quick scheduling call, never a negotiation over fees, and it is exactly how a local company should stand behind its work.
Licensed & insured
Treatments follow Arizona Department of Agriculture standards and product labels, applied by licensed, insured technicians who document every visit. You get a clear record of exactly what was treated and where, on every single stop.
Family- & pet-conscious
We use targeted, low-impact methods placed at entry points and harborage rather than broadcasting product where your kids and pets spend time, with clear re-entry windows. Effective protection and a household you do not have to worry about are not a trade-off. Your technician will always walk you through what was applied and how long to wait, so there is never any guesswork.
Transparent pricing
Recurring plans start at $49/month with a firm quote before any work begins, no surprise fees, no high-pressure contracts, and no door-to-door upsells. You always know what you are paying and what it covers before we start, and because plans are month-to-month, you stay because the service works rather than because a contract says you have to.
Rated 5.0 across the Valley
Homeowners and property managers rate us 5.0 stars across 230+ reviews for showing up on time, communicating clearly, and actually solving the problem the first time. We have built our name on repeat business and referrals, not one-off sales.
Jake was great. Knowledgable about bait chemicals and gopher behavior. Safe CO2 used instead of traps. They die without pain instead of in a trap. Courteous and efficient. Highly recommend.

Our approach to Bird Netting & Spike Installation
The same disciplined sequence on every visit, from the first walk of the property to the barrier we keep current all year.
Inspect & identify

Treat the source
We treat the harborage and entry routes directly rather than just spraying surfaces, breaking the breeding cycle at its root. Interior and exterior are handled as needed so the pest has nowhere left to regroup.
Seal & prevent
We seal and advise on the gaps, thresholds, and conducive conditions that let pests back in, turning a one-time fix into lasting protection for your Phoenix & the Valley property.
Maintain the barrier
Recurring visits keep the protective barrier current through every Arizona season, and the free re-service guarantee means anything that slips through between visits is handled at no extra cost.
Questions, answered
Frequently asked questions
Can't find your answer? Talk to a real person on our team, no phone tree, no pressure.
Netting or spikes, which do I need?
Spikes for narrow ledges where birds perch. Netting for open areas they get into and nest in, such as patios, alcoves, courtyards, and loading bays. Most commercial sites end up with some of each.
Will netting look bad on my building?
Netting comes in colors that read as close to invisible against most Valley stucco and shade structures from ground level. We will show you what it looks like before installing anything.
Do spikes hurt the birds?
No. Spikes are a landing deterrent rather than a trap, blunt-tipped and spaced so a bird simply picks another spot. It is the standard humane approach.
What about mourning doves and other native birds?
Pigeons, house sparrows, and starlings are non-native and unprotected. Native species including mourning doves are federally protected and their active nests cannot be disturbed, so we work around the timing and exclude once the nest is inactive.
How much does it cost?
Most homes are covered on a recurring plan from $49 a month with a free re-service guarantee, and standalone jobs are quoted after a quick inspection. Either way, you get a firm number before any work begins.
Do you guarantee the work?
Yes. Every recurring plan includes free re-service if the pest returns between scheduled visits, with no long-term contract.
Ready to get the pests out, and keep them out?
Recurring plans start at $49/month with a free re-service guarantee between visits.
